Kidnapped by Farangs

Ok, so I haven’t posted for a long time. I’m going to blame the farangs. Basically, some farang at work (my boss) decided that not only would it be better for me to arrive at work an hour earlier in the morning but that I should also work on saturdays too. This particularly sucks because I only earn about 20 000 baht as it is, and I will not be getting any more money despite working more hours.

Anyway, we’ve had some great news today. Immigration is going to make it harder for farangs to stay here without proper visas. Hopefully this will put an end to the eternal tourist problem where they just hop across the Cambodia border every month to get a new visa. This will mean that we might actually be able to use Sukhimvit between sois 4 - 40 after 5pm without feeling embarassed or like whores! Woohoo! I am used to taking the BTS that extra station just to avoid getting off at Nana!

So does this mean the end of the depressing sight of Esarn girls walking hand in hand with fat, bald men who are three times their age? Probably not - but it might mean the guy is wearing a nicer shirt than before rather than the hawaii travel shirts and sandals that seem to be the uniform of the farang sexpat community.

Expect more ranting about farangs very soon.

I couldn’t quite tell if you are writing this as a joke or because you are just a racist idiot, but either way, I find it interesting that you couldn’t come up with more than three articles on this topic in a years time.

I did, however, like your pictures, the Polaroid effect is kinda cool….

  2. Fon Says:

Unfortunately it is too depressing writing about how ignorant farangs are and as a result I don’t write enough. That the material is available, however, is not in doubt. Reliving it by writing it all down was not as cathartic as I had hoped. Might do it again sometime soon tho so stay tuned as I know you guys loved to be talked about!!

  3. Geoff Says:

Yes, I will stay tuned, as I do enjoy being talked about; almost as much as I like Isaan girls half my age or you like expensive shiny gifts…. ;-)

Complaining about having to work eh?… You stupid, lazy, under-educated Thai whore. You and the rest of the dumb Thai rice monkeys probably have nightmares every night about actually having to do a proper day’s work. Khon Thai tuk khon…kee kiat mak………..mai mee samong (brain) duai….

  6. Fon Says:

under educated eh. and mr. James is a PhD in … nana plaza?

  7. James Says:

I don’t live in Thailand and neither would I ever stoop so low as to have a Thai girlfriend or wife. My farang wife is a million times better than any Thai…that is for sure. Sorry but I like (white) women….not monkeys!

  8. I know you Says:

So how’s life in Korea, James?

  9. James Says:

Life in Korea is pretty good actually. Lots of nice fair skinned eye candy, relatively inexpensive and delicous food. Not to mention a fantastic transport system. Can’t really complain at all.

    Good news? Really?

Who do you think has been in charge of the situation that has allowed people to do that for so long? The very same people - Thai immigration oficials! Wake up.

I agree with you that your country attracts some of the worse people and of course you have the right to expose their behavior. However, it seems like you HATE foreigners indiscriminantely. You don’t see the difference between good and bad foreigners in your country. There are good foreigners who live peacefully in Thailand and respect this country’s laws and culture. What do you think about that?

  12. Human rights Says:

We need to keep the paedophiles out and attract richer farang patrons for the esarn girls.

Thank you! ha ha ha! I love your Blog.

I don’t take offense to anything you’ve written because there is so much truth and honesty beneath it. The emotion which you elicit from so many is only indicative of how closely you have hit your mark.

It is very difficult to find an honest perspective of the underlying currents regarding how one culture regards another, and so I believe this is a very important website which you have created. In my own white America, there are undercurrents regarding many other cultures, especially urban blacks, which would be very difficult for foreigners (our own Falangs…) to understand….. and I am quite appreciative of your honesty and straightforwardness.

Your blog has helped me understand Thai culture much better, as well as the preconceptions which must permeate the subconscious of my Thai friends. It helps me understand my own place in the Thai culture, and the baggage which I carry into it.

Again, you are doing something very important, and I hope you continue.
