Disgusting farangs on the way to work

When I go to work in the morning I have to frequently wait for the bus for anything between 20 to 40 minutes and I wait on a street which is a very different street at night times than it is at day times. Every morning I meet the same faces in my fellow Thais. There’s a lovely lady who sells flowers to the taxi drivers and old people, the security guys who try to help with the flow of traffic and the same people who take the same bus route as me to work every day.

Then there’s some less enjoyable faces, not always the same, but always farang. These are the types who are instead of just getting up to get on with their work, haven’t yet slept and are on the way home. They try to hide this fact from the throng of people waiting for the morning bus, but it’s obvious to all of us that they are drunk, haven’t washed and probably just paid some girl for her “company”.

This morning there was one fat, balding, ugly farang staggering along the road talking to himself. This wasn’t some travelling hippie type of farang, this was a smartly dressed (but his clothes were crumpled presumably from a night of constant groping of underage girls) but drunk farang. Despite the morning brightness and sun he seemed to not understand he was no longer in a night club or strip bar and was ogling many of the office women waiting for their bus. I could see it made many people uncomfortable. He was talking to himself in English but even though I speak English I did not understand what he was trying to talk about.

The thing which really struck me was how relatively unsurprised most of the people standing around witnessing this farang baffoon were. Yes I’m sure everyone was embarassed, but nobody standing there was seeing this kind of farang behaviour for the first time. If I went to America or Europe I would be ashamed to stagger around past working people early in the morning drunk out of my mind talking to myself. I took a picture on my phone and I’m so tempted to put it on my web site so his family might one day see what he is really up to on his “business meeting in Thailand”.

Then not ten minutes later another farang with a moustache got out of a taxi along the same stretch of street and you could smell the whiskey on his clothes from half a mile away I am sure. And from the other side of the taxi a girl, also drunk, got out and tried to help him stagger onto the pavement and down to the nearby shop. I couldn’t help wondering how much she was hoping to be paid, I bet it’s more than I will earn today.

Over the past 6 to 7 years while I have been living in Asia I have become more and more aware of people putting down others verbally without a hint of concern to what they are doing or saying. The reason I say I have noticed this so much while living in Asia is because very few Asian people do this. This is predominantly a Western trait. Since I spend a lot of my time around Asian people, I really notice the “knocking” when I am around other Westerners who I think do this mostly through habit. The thing is though, and I believe many people are unaware of this, is that the person they are ultimately hurting is themselves.

Like everything in this universe, what you put out is what you get back. This is a universal law and there is no escaping this law. If it is positive thoughts or words you emit, that is what will be returned to you at some stage in the future. Likewise, if you talk negatively about others, then other people will talk negatively about you.(Maybe thats what you want?) Whatever energy you send out into the universe will gather more of the same energy and come back to you, there is no avoiding this.

As I became aware of this I decided to perform my own social experiment and have a good look around my environment of friends and acquaintances and in the media which I generally avoid and see for myself if I can notice a pattern. What I noticed was painfully clear in no time at all. The same people within certain groups in the community are always “knocking” and being “knocked”. However, others within that same community who do not “knock” others, but instead talk highly of their peers get the same positive comments in return. I also noticed within my own group of friends, this was also the case.

If you are unsure of this, don’t take my word for it, have a look around your own world and I have no doubt you will come to the same conclusion as me. On top of all this, when I am around someone who is belittling another, I seem to get a splash of negative energy from that person and like to get away as soon as possible. However, talking positively about others and generally being around positive people has the opposite effect and makes us feel good. So if you are around any “knockers” or catch yourself talking negatively about other people, don’t make a big fuss about it but be aware that if you are trashing others, someone somewhere will be talking the same way about you. The good thing is though, once you are aware of this you can change this bad habit anytime you want and know that the good things you say about others will certainly be said about you.

Also just one more thing. I have never been to Nana and rarely drink, does that make me a discusting farang? I have been married to a Highly respected Thai lady for 6 years, Never paid for sex in my life, So please do me a favor and explain what is eating you inside that you have to make a website like this? weather you are Thai or a farang hiding behind a Thai name how and why do you feel the need to Judge people like this? i am just amazed at what sort of person you must be.
At first this site just plainly pissed me off but now i see that you are a deeply sad person with many issues.
I will once again go for my daily coffee now and read my paper watch people go on with there daily lives in this wonderful country and then i will go back to work feeling very happy and blessed that i am here. I hope you can feel the same? as whatever is eating you will either get the better of you or will continue to make your life very very sad.
Fon or will or whoever you are attack me all you wish. Dont accuse all farang of being the same we are not, there are many problems in you own country with your own people maybe you should look there first.
Gambling drinking and suicide are all on the rise how about you do a post on Thai people (in Thai) and see the responce you get ?

i totally agree with what thommo has wrote.
you do seem to live in the world of thinking thailand is the only country in civilization, which i have encountered, a lot in thailand, the negative of thais is if you are not thai you do not understand, you are a very indendepent race of people and stubborn with it. if its new its no good, look at your previous prime minister who wished to bring you into this century maybe thaksin was corrupt but clever and industrious he was and what happened.
regarding farang behaviour, my friend look at your own countries behaviour women second class citizens, parents having children then leaving them with family members to take care of,and alcohol have a look around for yourself you have either lived a very sheltered life or very naive i could go on and on and on here but all countries have good and bad citizens, but do remember those farang you see with working girls, are helping that girls family in some way or another, because your own country does not care to much for the poor. gday

Thais never get drunk, never dress bad, and always smell like a fresh bed of roses. For example. When I leave for work I typically see:

    1. 3-5 Drunken Thai Sarm Low drivers
    2. Drunken Security guard
    3. Thai teachers who get drunk during their lunch breaks
    4. Thais who seemed to not know what deodorant is.
    5. Thais drinking in the morning
    6. Thai beggars reeking of Alcohol constantly pestering Foreigners for more booze money
    7. Thai police drinking while working
    8. Thai police letting Drunk Thai drivers off the hook when pulled over, or worse yet, when in an accident
    9. Thai Monks smoking, drinking, banging girls etc.
    10. Underage Thai girls, Mia Nois, College girls, etc, with Thai men twice and sometimes three times their age.

Please feel free to add to the list.

Remember, folks. The Thais are the perfect race in everything and anything.

This farang who runs this blog pretending to be a Thai girl has to stare at himself in the mirror everyday. That’s why he started this blog. There is a lot of truth in it though he is actually describing himself and events that he has gone through. The drunken man reeking of whiskey staggering to work after a long night with the underage girls… it’s really him he is describing, and so in.

Perhaps he is Schizophrenic, which is why he lives his second life pretending to be a Thai girl and ventilating all the things he hates about himself. (and Thais hate about him) through this blog. lol
